Behind the scenes of Recording a rocket at Cape Canaveral and more in the Boeing Vehicle Assembly building for Kerbal Space Program 2 – How crazy is this!

Took years to get the clearance and connections to be able to record on the launch pad. Multiple locations and 24 microphones. This is a profile of the exact Atlas V rocket I recorded.

These recording were used in game and dynamically altered in realtime based on Atmospheric density, Speed, distance, g-force and many more.

On Dino Frontier I decided to add a bunch of silly songs and gags on the loading screens – most of them played back random but some for specific loading scenarios. Maybe 100 variations with 30 musical numbers. Bradford Loomis did a great job the voice!
